Using a mattress cover in the battle of bed bugs is gaining popularity on both a defensive and offensive front. If you are unfortunately already infested with these bad boys then you can avoid having to throw away your whole bed set and/or drenching your bed with chemicals by wrapping your bed and box spring in a hypo-allergenic mattress cover. This will keep any live ones from escaping and prevent any new ones from infesting the millions of cracks, crevices, tufts, nooks and crannies that a mattress and box spring have to offer these bugs.
